I'm the Chief of Allergy & Immunology at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. I take care of kids with allergies and immune problems, with a special focus on food allergies. My research investigates novel treatments for food allergies and strives to understand and eliminate health disparities.

I also care deeply about wellness - of health professionals, their patients, our communities, and society as a whole. The science of healing - body, mind and spirit - fascinates me. I study and speak widely about the scientific benefits of integrative practices, like SKY Breath Meditation - which I practice daily. Something as simple as how we breathe can have a profound impact on our health, and allow us to experience deep healing and true happiness.
